You asked for it, so sit down and prepare yourself for my slightly excessive Disney Ears collection. I was inspired by my fabulous friend Pippa from Broadways Away, who is also the main cause behind my obsession, when she did her Ear collection video. Please go and subscribe to them if you haven't already!
I will note that I have paid for all of these ears with my own money and I have not been sponsored by any of the brands mentioned below - I just love them!
I will break them down into three categories - two brands and then general parks ears. Where possible, I will link each pair!
Ears Ever After
Ears Ever After is run by the amazing Natasha who has so many amazing designs on her site. She not only sells standard ears, she does scrunchies, pins, holders and baby ears! All of her ears are handmade and a lot of them can be customised and even have lights added for that extra bit of magic. Her ears are also shipped in branded dust bags to keep them safe during their travels! You can also create an account where you earn loyalty points on each purchase which equates to money off future orders. Definitely check her out!
First up is the Purple Galactic Wall ears, inspired by the iconic Purple Wall in Magic Kingdom! I think everyone loves a Disney wall, even if you think you don't you can't tell me you don't have at least one photo in front of one! I went for a lilac sequin bow to tie in the purple tones, but there are many bow colours to choose from.
Next is the Spooky Mansion ears, inspired by my favourite attraction the Haunted Mansion. I love the combination of the well known wallpaper with the lace and material from the Cast Member outfits! I don't think my collection would be complete without at least one Mansion item.
Next up is the Orange Bot ears, inspired by my favourite little droid, BB8! These are going to be awesome on visits to Galaxy's Edge! The colours are so vibrant too, they will stand out in the bright Florida sun.
The Rainbow Sequin ears might be my favourite pair of ears I own. They are so sparkly and I can just see myself walking down Main Street with these sparkling on my noggin. So many happy, magical feels.
Now we have the Lion Friends ears, inspired by The Lion King. They give me some serious Animal Kingdom vibes and I went for a brown-ish coloured bow to fit in with that!
Now we have the Hollywood Hotel ears, inspired by another favourite attraction of mine, Tower of Terror! I cannot wait to take a photo outside ToT and wear them on the ride - Instagram game will be strong! I love the small details like the golden tassel and gold detailing - matches the Bell Hop outfits perfectly!
Next is the Glass Slipper Princess ears, inspired by Cinderella. I will be living my true Princess fantasy in these. The blue velvet fabric coupled with the silk bow and silver glitter just make these so elegant and pretty!
Next we have the Circle of Life ears, inspired again by The Lion King! I went for a red bow to tie in with the red detailing on the fabric. I figured why not have two Animal Kingdom inspired ears that are both Lion King?!
Next we have the Purple Dragon ears, inspired by everyone's favourite little spark, Figment! I actually prefer Natasha's version of the Figment ears than I do the ones in the parks. The sequins really bring out the colour, and everyone knows sequins in Florida are always a yes.
Next we have one of EEA's newest pairs, the Little Earth ears. I know I always complain about Small World, but I couldn't resist these when I saw them. They are in a really soft fabric with gold glitter detailing and I love the rainbow bow!
The final pair of ears I own from EEA, are the Mickey and Minnie Mummy ears. They are extremely hard to get hold of and Natasha updates her Instagram with when they are available. They are in the same super soft fabric as the Small World ears and have the most awesome Mickey and Minnie design on! I love that they match the Christmas ones - watch this space for Christmas releases from EEA!
I also got my ears holder from EEA. It holds 9 pairs of standard ears on the biggest version, which is the one I own. I need to order two more of these soon to hold all my ears! They are really high quality and look so pretty on display.
Bespoke Stitches Co
I have two pairs of ears from Bespoke Stitches Co on Etsy. I stumbled across this shop whilst searching for ears on Etsy and really loved the designs. They are made from high quality fabric with the highest amount of sparkle!
The first pair is these ice cream cone ears. I love the design and the detailing around the outside of the ear itself. I love that they are really different and look so pretty.
This pair of Sorcerer Mickey ears have recently had a design update! They are the most glittery and sparkly ears in the world and glisten so nicely in the sun!
General Parks Ears
It's like a right of passage to own the standard fluffy Minnie ears. I actually find these a little uncomfortable so don't tend to wear them very often, which was also the ammunition to me growing my collection with small business ears instead! They are also old and a bit grubby...
I bought these vintage Minnie ears on eBay and they are so pretty! The colours are really vibrant and I love the flower at the top. I am thinking these will have to be worn on my first time on Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway!
Of course, I need to have ears dedicated to my favourite park, so I got the Spaceship Earth/Bubblegum Wall ears! These were another eBay purchase (because they were cheaper!) and I have every intention of wearing them on SSE now the refurb has been indefinitely cancelled.
I bought these ears solely to wear on the 50th anniversary next year because that is the golden anniversary! Have to make sure I am colour coordinated! Another eBay purchase, but these are interestingly from Disneyland Paris...who'd have thought.
Finally, my favourite pair of parks ears is the gingerbread Christmas ears from the 2019 collection. I tried so hard to get my hands on these and I finally got them recently! I love gingerbread, so there was no way I was letting this slip through my hands. I am planning on going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party next year and I will be living my best Christmassy life with the snow on Main Street.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this picture journey through my Disney Ears collection! This would have been much better as a vlog...watch this space! Show me your ears collection!
